The Danish Government has decided that Mr. Peter Frederiksen will be Chairman of the board of A/S Storebælt, and that the board will be extended from 7 members to 9 members.
Mr. Peter Frederiksen will replace Mr. Henning Kruse Petersen as chairman. Earlier this year Mr. Kruse Petersen announced that he would step down as chairman and no longer has a seat on the board.
Moreover, the Government decided that Mr. David P. Meyer will be co-deputy chairman. The board will consist of 2 co-deputy chairmen since the current deputy chairman Mr. Carsten Koch will remain on the board until spring 2017.
Ms. Ruth Schade and Ms. Lene Lange will also take seats on the board.
Ms. Pernille Sams and Ms. Mette Boye will also together with Mr. Carsten Koch remain on the board until spring 2017.
The adjustment of the members of the board will be implemented in 2 steps, at the Annual General Meeting held today and at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on 10 May 2016.
The Extraordinary General Meeting is required to implement a change in the by-laws which will enable both the extension of the board to a total of 9 members and the election of Ms. Ruth Schade and Ms. Lene Lange.
