Personnel policy

Sund & Bælt’s personnel policy aims to attract, retain and develop employees with the qualifications and skills necessary for the effective fufillment of Sund & Bælt’s objectives.

At Sund & Bælt, we regard it as important to provide employees with attractive conditions in which to do their jobs and we listen to the needs and wishes of our employees and managers. We wish to be a company where people want to work irrespective of age and experience.

Collaboration and communication

It should be easy for Sund & Bælt employees to seek information and knowledge that relates to the company and their own areas of responsibility. At Sund & Bælt, we have established a well-functioning intranet, which is continually being developed.

Each department and function has defined a meeting structure, which comprises information and departmental meetings. In addition, a number of fixed and ad hoc committees have been set up, e.g. safety and staff committees.

Human resources on a day-to-day basis

Excellent and effective management is essential for the continuous development of Sund & Bælt and creates a good framework for our employees’ efforts.

At Sund & Bælt, good management is characterised by the manager having a high level of skills within the area for which he/she is responsible.  At the same time, the manager is able to deliver the expected results by making optimum use of the employees’ skills.

Equal opportunities

Based on the Danish population’s current composition, efforts are made to achieve a similar mix of employees in the company.

This means that when a position needs to be filled, the aim is to achieve a balanced representation of men and women, employees with a different ethnic background and a balanced age distribution. A pre-requisite, however, is that the applicant must be in possession of the relevant and necessary qualifications for the position.
