In the Middle East, the world’s longest fixed link is being planned between Qatar and Bahrain. Partner A/S has mainly been involved in advising the consultants on the planning of the toll station and the customs and immigration facilities using the experience gained on the Storebælt and Øresund links.
The state of Vera Cruz in Mexico has planned a concrete immersed road tunnel under the Coatzacoalcos River near the Gulf of Mexico. Drawing on the experience from the Øresund Tunnel, Partner A/S has assisted the consulting engineering firm, GROUPO BM, in the initial phase of the project with timetabling and technical requirements.
A feasibility study has been carried out on a 22 km long bridge that will connect Kuwait City with the development region Subiyah. The Danish companies COWI, DHI, Dissing + Weitling and Partner A/S have participated in the study together with local companies. Partner A/S has provided consultancy services to the consulting engineer with regard to the economic and financial studies.
