Based on the political agreement on Infrastructure Plan 2035, Sund & Bælt is currently conducting an environmental impact assessment for an Eastern Ring Road designed as a submerged tunnel along Amager's east coast.
The tunnel, in its entirety, will connect the Helsingør Motorway in the north with the Øresund Motorway in the south, thereby redirecting traffic away from central Copenhagen, serving new urban areas in Copenhagen’s Østhavn, and ensuring better access to the Øresund connection.
Sund & Bælt now invites the public to meetings in Kastrup and Østerbro, where the preliminary results of the ongoing environmental impact assessment will be presented.
At the public meetings, participants will have the opportunity to learn about new traffic model calculations, ask questions, and hear more about the next steps in the environmental impact assessment process. There will also be an opportunity to engage in dialogue with subject matter experts.

Monday, June 16, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Scandic CPH Strandpark, Amager Strandvej 401, 2770 Kastrup. Doors open at 4:30 PM.
