Sund & Bælt’s Railway Safety Policy
The railway must be safe – both for those who use it and for those who work on it. Railway safety is managed through proactive risk management, an efficient railway safety management system and a professional railway safety organisation.
Maintaining and improving railway safety means that:
- We take a proactive approach to risk management and monitoring, and follow up on non-conformities.
- We identify and comply with relevant rules and legislation.
- The railway safety management system is robust, maintained and implemented.
- We maintain a professional railway safety organisation.
- We monitor compliance with railway safety requirements on an ongoing basis.
- Incidents relating to railway safety are reported and handled through necessary remedial and corrective measures.
