Exciting infrastructure and good solutions
"I love bridges – especially working with inspections and project management. Being involved in some of the largest infrastructure projects in Denmark is truly something special."
I have been part of Sund & Bælt since 2017, when I started as an intern at A/S Storebælt during my studies. Even back then, it was clear that Storebælt was the perfect match for me, and today, I work as an Operations Manager with responsibility for concrete projects and inspection work on the West Bridge.
I wrote my bachelor's thesis on the bridge lifting project on the West Bridge, which is actually a project I am still working on to this day. It’s amazing to follow a project all the way from concept to implementation.
After my internship, I continued working closely with Storebælt when I joined an engineering company that provided technical consulting for the bridge's structures. There, I gained valuable experience and strengthened my technical expertise, which made it a natural step to return to Sund & Bælt and take the next step in my career.
What excites me most is that no two days as an Operations Manager are the same. Project and operational management are incredibly rewarding because they allow me to combine office work with time spent in the field. I have always been curious and action-oriented, and these traits are essential in my work.
I enjoy working at a high level, but I also love diving into the details when tasks require it. I have a good overview and a strong interest in delving deep into technical solutions. It’s a balance that suits me perfectly.
I am passionate about my work and enjoy sharing that passion with others: Working on and around some of Denmark’s largest infrastructure projects is truly something special. I’m always happy to talk enthusiastically about my work to anyone who wants to hear about it.
